Week of April 13 – Grafton

Hi Grafton Families! We miss you and your little ones so much; we hope you are staying busy (and healthy) while you are home. We will do our best to post weekly updates so you can keep up with what’s going on at LRS while you are home. This week is the Week of the Young Child.

Miss Jamie has a message below that will give you some information about what we are doing this week, along with a few suggestions for “At Home” activities.

Here is another video from Miss Jamie sharing a special book.

A (free) fun music app you may want to try at home is Piano Kids by Orange Studio Games.

You can do indoor, large motor activities with your child at home. This week, try tossing rolled up socks into laundry baskets. Keep a family score card for extra fun.

I was able to obtain free subscriptions to ABCMouse for my LRS families. I will attach the informational letter that includes an access code to an email. Here are the basics:

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We are providing you with free at-home access to our online learning programs ABCmouse,
Adventure Academy, and ReadingIQ while you are learning from home. These research-based
educational programs include thousands of digital learning activities, and they can help preschool,
pre-k, elementary, and middle school students keep learning while schools are closed.
All three programs can be used on computers, tablets, and smartphones, and you can add up to
three children per account!

How to Get Your Free Accounts
